Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Silsila website and any free resources or open-source software provided through it. Separate written agreements (Statements of Work, Master Services Agreements) govern paid consulting and training engagements.
01About us
This website is operated by Silsila Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12188279) whose registered office is at 320 Firecrest Court, Centre Park, Warrington, United Kingdom, WA1 1RG. “Silsila” and “Silsila Labs” are trading names of Silsila Digital Ltd. References to “Silsila”, “we”, or “us” in these Terms mean Silsila Digital Ltd.
You can contact us by email at hello@silsiladigital.com.
02Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using this website, or using any free resource we provide through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version number and effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we do. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
03Scope of these Terms
These Terms apply to:
- Use of the Silsila website and any successor domains
- Use of free or open-source software made available through this site or linked repositories
- Any other free resources, blog posts, downloads, or content we publish
Paid consulting, training, and product engagements are governed by a separate written agreement (typically a Master Services Agreement and one or more Statements of Work). Those agreements take precedence over these Terms in the event of any conflict.
04Use of the website
You agree to use the website lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
- Use the site to send unsolicited marketing or spam
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems, or any connected systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content without our written permission
- Use the site or its content in a way that infringes our intellectual property or that of any third party
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
05Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, the “silsila” wordmark, the سلسلة logo, page layouts, and the underlying code — is owned by Silsila Digital Ltd or used under licence, and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
You may view, share, and quote short extracts of our public content (such as blog posts or project descriptions) for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you attribute the work to Silsila and link back to the source. You may not reproduce substantial portions, republish content as your own, or use it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Open-source projects published by Silsila Labs (such as Wraith, Spectre) are licensed separately under the terms specified in each repository. Use of those projects is governed by their respective open-source licences, not by these Terms.
06No professional advice
The content of this website — including articles, case studies, and project descriptions — is provided for general information only. It is not, and is not intended to be, advice you can rely on for any specific decision.
In particular, content discussing financial services, regulated industries, AI ethics, or compliance topics does not constitute legal, financial, investment, regulatory, or tax advice. You should obtain professional advice tailored to your circumstances before acting on anything published here.

The site may link to third-party websites, repositories, or services. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site. You access them at your own risk.

- The accuracy, completeness, or currency of any content
- The availability of the site or any specific feature
- That the site will be free of errors, interruptions, viruses, or harmful components
- That any open-source software is fit for any particular purpose
09Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Silsila Digital Ltd shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or any free content, including:

10Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.
11Termination
You may stop using the website at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the site or its services at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or where required by law.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.
12Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the website or services arising from events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, outages of third-party infrastructure (such as GitHub Pages), cyber incidents, government actions, or epidemics.
13Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.

- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.
- No assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations on notice to you.
- Third-party rights: A person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term.
